We assist owners and developers on specific phases or throughout the entire build process including the concept/initiation, feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.
Matt Johnston
Co-Owner / Builder
Matt is a second-generation contractor with nearly 20 years of construction experience in the Pacific Northwest. Having grown up on job sites, his ability to work hand in hand with developers, architects, designers, and subcontractors provides his clients unparalleled value when it comes to details, quality, and finding sustainable solutions to ensure long term reliability.

He’s an Oregon native with a Construction Engineering Management degree from Oregon State University—and a decade of experience at one of the country’s largest, most reputable commercial construction companies. His vast knowledge of the business translates into creative, high-quality projects with a keen attention to budgets, timelines and fostering high-functioning team. He is part of the process from beginning to end and is known to produce results well beyond his client’s expectations.
Matt is LEED AP BD+C accredited and an avid residential renovator, with a more recent passion for the art of concrete. He enjoys traveling and being outdoors, whether on a destination golf course or hiking right here at home, in the Pacific Northwest.
Vincent Figini
Co-Owner / Builder
With over 15 years of experience in commercial construction, Vince has seen the industry from every perspective; as a field superintendent, estimating, cost management, pre-construction and project management of projects ranging from $100k to $165M. With a Construction Engineering Management degree from Oregon State University, Vince has led business units and large-scale commercial projects all over the Portland in a variety of market sectors including retail, commercial, hospitality, multi-family healthcare—and most recently, the Port of Portland.
His varied construction experience has earned him in-depth knowledge of the industry, including the complete lifecycle of construction projects, construction operations, and value add deals where logistics and coordination are crucial to the project’s success. His tenacity and resourcefulness enable him to help resolve problems before they impact the project and ensures the project pushes forward to completion.
Although analytically minded, Vince is a builder at heart. He is LEED AP BD+C accredited and keeps himself challenged by the process of putting things together or changing how it functions. For fun, Vince enjoys building and restoring custom furniture, surfing, golfing, and watching OSU beaver football with his German Shepard/Alaskan Malamute mix puppy, Karl.
